It was very hot and still. To make matters worse, the water was stained and the fish were just not biting. Sam somehow managed to coax this redfish to bite his gold spoon, and Man, don't we look cool in those Costa shades?!?

Oct. Reds
By: Bryn Chico
On out 10th annual fishing trip to Du Large south of Houma LA we spent most of the first day fighting the weather. With a cold front coming through the night before the water was whipped into a dirty mess resembling chocolate milk. Before calling it a day we decided to make our way back into some shallow duck ponds where the water was better. Jackpot, with a few gold spoons and a little from my Triple Tails we managed to bring home 14 Red Drum. Best Glasses on the water. None of us leave home with out them.
