Six Redfish!

Went into the flats Sunday morning and caught 6 Redfish kept two with this 26 incher putting on quite a fight. I was using my daughters Shakespeare light spinning rod with 10 lb test and 20 lb test ghost rig with circle hook.Free line live shrimp for natural presentation.
Shark Catch

When some friends and I went on a fishing trip in the Gulf of Mexico off the coast of Panama City Florida, we had plans to catch plenty of amberjack, grouper and snapper. I had no idea what was in store for my first deep sea fishing trip! After about an hour of fishing without as much of a nibble, I hooked something. I new the fish was pulling and was asked if it was a big one and I really had no idea considering I had never been deep sea fishing. After about 30 minutes of me fighting and him pulling, I brought the fish up to the surface of the water. To our surprise I had hooked a shark that was estimated to be 250 LBS! We were COMPLETELY unprepared to put a fish of this size in the boat so we prepared to cut the line after we took several pictures. As we prepared to do this, he made one more attempt to get off and boy did he ever! He turned, went South and was gone. Thanks to my Costa Fathom's with Blue tint, polarized lenses I was able to get a tremendous look at a fish I may never get that close to again. Thank you Costa!!!!!
