Flats fishing for Bone fish in Biscayne, Fl., all day with no luck because is was a little too windy and we all know how spooky they are. Man my luck was terrible couldn't even get a Barracuda to bite, had a 40 inch Snook spook when I pitched a shrimp at em. To top that I even had an Black Tip Shark spit my hook. Good thing I never gave up because on the last run thanks to my 580's we spotted this nice Permit tailing a Ray. Pitched him a crab wait for it wait for it set that hook and let the fight began. Heck of a fight with or without 12lb mono and a hour and a half later he's was and will always be a good memory. Star Rods actually using this picture for their ad. in the Florida Sportsman Magazine. Oh ps I lost my 580's a week later fight an hugh Wahoo.

What can we say, I told my wife about these sunglasses and have been wearing them to fish on our area lakes. Planned a trip to the Flats of Florida. She could see and understand why I told her these are a must when on water. Made it worth the while when she landed this 40lb Tarpon on light tackel. Thanks to Capt Steve Kroll of Pepperfish Key Charters. My kids even want a pair now, had to give mine up so my youngest could see what I was telling his mom.
