Turneffe Flats

Anglers looking for the “flats grand slam” have only a few options. One of the most spectacular is the Turneffe Flats lodge on the coast of Belize. Set on one of the few coral atolls in the Western world, the lodge is surrounded by 250 square miles of flats, and waters teeming with tarpon, bonefish and permit. Here you can break out spin or fly tackle, and challenge some of the world’s greatest game fish.

But fishing is only the beginning. Blue Hole, Half Moon Wall, Long Caye and other legendary dive spots are nearby, while a huge menu of eco-tour options awaits, both on water and on land.
