World Billfish Series
The World Billfish Series is dedicated to promoting a lifestyle committed to sportsmanship, healthy competition and marine conservation through "The World's Richest Bluewater Fishing Events." The WBS works to promote the virtues of true sportsmanship and global marine conservation as ambassadors of big-game fishing.
Comprised of 60+ of billfishing's most prestigious tournaments in eight worldwide divisions, the WBS World Tour is fished by over 30,000 anglers. Anglers earn points at each of these events based on participation, billfish catch and overall tournament finish. The top ten anglers in each of the divisions will receive an invitation to the WBS Grand Championships. In addition, the Top Angler from each of the WBS-sanctioned tournaments will receive an invitation to the Grand Championships along with the Past World Champions.
